Bourbski is a mobile application that lets whiskey enthusiasts track their personal bottle collection, log tasting notes, and share activity with a network of friends. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bourbski app and any related services we provide.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Bourbski.
Bourbski is intended for users who are 21 years of age or older. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at privacy@bourbski.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person or use a false identity. One account per person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.
Bourbski allows you to submit content including tasting notes, bottle submissions, and profile information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of the content you create.
By submitting content to Bourbski, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and store that content for the purpose of operating the app and its features.
Bottle catalog submissions: Bottle data you contribute to the community catalog (names, distillery info, photos, etc.) is shared with all users. If you delete your account, your bottle submissions remain in the catalog with your authorship removed, to preserve the catalog's integrity for the community.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
Your use of Bourbski is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Bourbski uses third-party services including Supabase for data storage and authentication, and UPCitemdb for barcode lookups. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern their relationship with you independently of these Terms.
Bourbski is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the community bottle catalog.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bourbski and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which for a free app is $0).
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion permanently removes your profile, shelf, pours, wishlist, and connections. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is retained after deletion.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, at our sole discretion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
